You could always space your big poles 24 apart, and roboports 48 apart.
but 24 and 48 is not divided by 18

How that can take excatly 16kbit/sec?
Always in late vanilla and early modded?
after some time i get lags. not sure but metric buffer/latency/smthelse in game ups to 5-20 values...

I am host and setting up 40`000 does nothing.
Speed exactly 16kbit/sec no more. Looks like that is artificial restriction.
Is there some ways to remove that?
16kbit toooo slow...

In any game i play upload&download speed is 16kbit/sec - is it correct?
Internet connection about 40mbit/sec...

I think the best solution to this problem would be that every locomotives acts as a constant combinator, which effectively allows the player to set the train/locomotive ID himself.

that does not matter there MaxPower always can be calculated. Always!

Your nuclears do not run every time, do it? go past. You have no UPS issue...
