Dark energy/Dark fusion endgame power generation

I think that would be pretty interesting and fun with a mix of a challenge to be able to tap dark energy to crate dark fusion reactors as stand-alone power generating stations. I am referencing this off of Half-Life 2 as the Combine have dark fusion cores in their citadels and I think it would be co...

Re: what is the maximum value of the digits

I do find it strange how 64-bit is able to be backwards compatible with 32-bit and lower values. I thought x64 was not capable of doing that. I also find it strange why there are these lower integers in a x64 program. 64 bit numbers can be used in 32 bit programs as well. Smaller number types exist...

Re: what is the maximum value of the digits

I noticed that even though 64 bit can go up to 1 decellion, my stacks on items can only go up to 4.2 billion. What is weird is I modified a fluid storage which can store up to 1 million Yotta. Are fluids handled differently than stackable items? Item stacks are unsigned 32 bit integers. That means ...

Re: We support Ukraine

The problem with this war is that it is causing the global economy to melt like magma. I will not take sides, but hope this madness will end soon. There is one thing people fail to figure out, and that is we have primordial instinct of war, survival, hunt, gather, construct. While war is unfortunate...

Re: Article on satisfactory mentions user ratings often calling factorio "the better satisfactory"

As much as I like Satisfactory, the Unreal 4 Engine has severe limits compared to Factorio. I also like Factorio more, but that is because I like 2d games more than 3d games. Factorio is also a complete package, whereas Satisfactory is a buggy mess at this time. Also: you do not fight hordes of murd...

Re: Factorio price increase - 2023/01/26

Good day Engineers, Next week, on Thursday 26th January 2023, We will increase the base price of Factorio from $30 to $35. This is an adjustment to account for the level of inflation since the Steam release in 2016. I understand this because, to what I am witnessing, the world economy is violently ...

Re: Version 1.1.50

I cannot seem to find the win64 binaries for the headless server. There isn't one. For windows it is a parameter you need to set on the normal installation for it to run as headless. Yea, I had a dumb moment and totally forgot about SteamCMD and command lines. I got it up and running now due to som...
