Fluid filter categories?

Klonan said on Discord that this request still wouldn't get implemented post-0.17 fluids, but that category filters might be a thing. Making a thread so that track isn't lost of it.

That's intentional; they were backwards before.
This said, there is a big here: the recipe localizations are unchanged, so the list of products in the title of the fermentation recipes are wrong now.

Re: Balancing stations

Oldest meaning the one that was built first, or the one that's hard longest since a delivery?

And my issue right now is that the providers will not fill as quickly as the requesters are depleted, as I build out capacity (building out capacity earlier in the chain is much harder with AB)

Balancing stations

Hey all, I'm trying to balance input between several stations where a) there isn't enough supply of resources to rely on backpressure when one gets backed up and b) I don't want to completely prioritize one over the other. My current thought is to use provider thresholds that are higher than the req...

Electrowinning is misspelled, it seems. Searching for "whinning" returns no hits.

Allow copy-paste of settings at any distance

Currently, in order to copy-paste settings to/from an entity, it must be in reach. But you can work around this by copying the entity into a blueprint and then laying it on top of the desired pastee; since blueprint creation and placement has unlimited range, and has the effect of copy-pasting setti...

[0.17.45] Inserters pointing to the same machine twice are inconsistent

With mods, it is possible to make an inserter point to the same machine for its input and output. In this case, it behaves a little inconsistently: an inserter will happy move the output of a machine into its fuel inventory for burning, but not into the ingredient inventory for reuse. They should be...

Re: Bugs & FAQ

Minor graphical bug: create a no-return valve, facing west, and fill it with sulfuric waste water. Nothing in the tile south of it. A small green bar appears in that southern tile.

Re: [0.17] LTN Combinator

Is it deliberate that the combinators a) do not allow for a station to be a simultaneous requester and provider and b) do not have an option to set train limit? b) in particular would be nice to see remedied.

Thanks!

Re: [Oxyd] [0.17.34] [Linux] Steam claims that factorio keeps running after exit

I encountered this as well with .44, so past the other issue fix, and verified that there were no factorio processes running. Thought: If you take a screenshot with the overlay, Steam tries to prompt you what to do with it when you close the game. Maybe that's getting stuck someplace? But I don't kn...

Re: PyCoalTBaA or the PyCoal Touched by an Angel Compatibility Patch

Does anyone have a recommendation for ore generation settings that works well in ABPy? Looking at a default-generated map, it's weird to see tons of tin and lead but not a lot of the critically-needed Angel resources. Or is it just better played without Angel's refining?

Re: [0.17] Please post bugs and balance issues here.

Apologies if you fixed it in a more recent release (I haven't upgraded due to incompatibilities) but power armour 3 tech doesn't depend on power armour 2 in the version I have (or on armour making 3).

The sintering oven should not be unlocked until you can actually use it for tungsten, which is far deeper in the tech tree.

Re: Bugs & FAQ

Another note: some of the recipes that use catalysts are not called "Catalytic". For consistency, probably either all catalytic recipes (or at least all the ones that say "Synthesis") should have "Catalytic", or else only the ones where there's multiple ways to synthesi...
