Re: [16.16] Search for mod updates not working anymore

I've increased the limit for URL length, so it should work now (unless you get even more mods and hit the new limit). When I get around to creating a new api, I'll make sure names are not passed in the URL so this won't become a problem again in the future.

Re: [Mod portal]Not working/unintuitive search

The search should be better now. And the button should work in IE.

Re: [Mod portal]Not working/unintuitive search

Unfortunate side effect of migrating from Postgres to Mongo, as mongo lacks partial fulltext search. Not sure how I'll fix this, but I'll probably do something simpler, better, but slower for now and reimplement later.

Re: [Mod portal]Api endpoint broken

I am treating this as a feature request, the mod portal api was never public, so this change is not a bug. It will probably come back though.

GodricSeer wrote:Ah, that makes sense, although why it worked fine in 0.16.15 is now a mystery. I'll change the config to use absolute paths. Thanks.
I think the game used argv[0] on 16.15 and earlier for determining the executable path.

Re: "Server error: Network Error"

Sorry for that, should be fixed.

Also please don't necro old topics, post a new one.

Re: switching from Windows to Mac OSX

I would avoid copying the config, or if you do, reset the controls on macOS, there were some portability issues with names of keys. And there are also different default bindings for certain things.

Re: [0.16.6] [Linux] Binary not marked as executable

Ah, I see, this is a separate issue, --apply-update is broken too. I will fix it for 0.16.7 and maybe redo the 0.15.40 -> 0.16.7 updates to hide the bug.

Re: [0.15.40] Mac crash on update to 0.16.x

Was that 0.15.40 -> 0.16.4 direct update? Yes. I experience this when I am on 0.15.40, trying to update to 0.16.x. From memory (no screenshots), this happened when I tried to update from 0.15.40 to 0.16.0, 0.16.1 and 10.16.3. Currently, I can reproduce this using the steps provided in the report wh...

Re: "Failed to read info.json" on uploaded, yet functional mod

Strange, when I unzipped it, the ending brace was missing. Maybe an error on my part then, I didn't even look at the string.

Re: "Failed to read info.json" on uploaded, yet functional mod

I came across this problem, too. I updated a mod for 0.16 and tried to upload it to the mod-portal, but it gave me the info.json error. Next I looked here and found this thread, oh it is because I use 7-zip maybe. Then I got WinRAR, created a new folder and then zipped it with WinRAR, but again inf...
