noticed that unrotated pipes are larger than rotated ones...

especially saw this when lagging on a server when you had the big pipe you placed standing around for a bit before shrinking and then rotating acordingly to the pipes nearby

now that i think about it, i wish the shadows wouldn't be part of the Texture but instead a seperate thing, so that it could corospond to the time of day and nearly light sources. I mean comeon, it is kinda silly if you place a light to the right of something and the shadow is visible under the lamp...

Love all this new high-res stuff and it's pretty awesome to see the huge amount of work that goes into every aspect of the game. Someday when there is Space, it could be used for Astronomy as well. In the Version 3.4 or something xD I don't think Factorio is suitable for that purpose, it's mainly a factory simulation. Kerbal Space Program, Universe Sandbox and Space Engine (which is free and made for that exact purpose) are ...
