Quick side bar on the OP's post. The Electrical networks are not flow-based like fluids. Each network is a flat resource pool, and is evenly distributed across all machines bound to it. I kind of wish there was a way to set hot zones for them, just to have them automatically favor hanging around a central area when not needed elsewhere.
But then again... I mostly use bots for big bursts of activity. The rest of the time they're doing garbage collection stuff.

You've never seen a Sushi Belt get backed up before? A well made belt would either back up, or stop... not throw items off it. I might not be popular w/ my opinion, but I honestly think, green modules are already way too OP on lvl1. On a death-world marathon scenario starting in desert, as soon as you fill every miner/assembler with lvl1 green modules the challenge suddenly just disappears. Both pollution created by miners...
