If you're talking about distractor capsules - they never followed you around. Defenders and destroyers follow you (and count against the researched limit). Distractor capsules don't follow you. Never have. (as an upside, they also don't count against the limit, you can deploy as many as you want) W...

Just got second tier drones in a new game and found out they are no longer following me! :-O

One problem I've noticed is that the consolidated laser turrets are not capable of dealing with the 50-alien waves as well as the many smaller turrets. They have a lot of overkill and target newer ones slower, allowing the aliens to get many more shots each wave; this allows turrets to be destroyed...

I like the new turret models a lot and how the laser turrets are now consolidated.

I really dislike how you guys nerfed the range of the tank weapon! :-(

Most weapons need to be longer range too; this is especially true for turrets, which are supposed to be a stabilized base.

After getting to top technology, it seems like the only reason to play now, is to try out new things released in patches.

I've got to partially retract my earlier statement about combat drones.

Since the top tier ones put out 5 at a time, they are pretty effective. :-)

They should still be permanent until destroyed, just needing recharge!
