Re: We support Ukraine

Point is, Ukraina's commanders sent mercs to die (most probably incompetence), then common Ukraine soldiers loot the bodies. ( most probably greed and hunger). https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=is+looting+dead+bodies+a+war+crime https://i.imgur.com/PsqZqb7.png i think you meant...

Re: I understand it's not likely, but I'd like to put in a vote for apple silicon optimization anyways.

I'd rather see RISC-V support, since ARM and now even x86 (with hardware DRM support present in Intel and Ryzen processors ) are dead-ends to be avoided if you care about general purpose computing . off-topic right-wing fear-mongering, SecureBoot was to also be the end of Linux and that never happe...

You press Alt-Tab again, the current window goes away, Factorio window comes back. Simple, linear, basic Windows behavior.
My windows doesn't behave like that, Alt-Tab just changes focus and brings the window to the front. No windows are minimized.
mine does this on Linux lately.

Re: UPS optimization - Windows Safe mode benefits? (spoiler: no)

I find it interesting that you expected better performance out of Factorio in Safe mode vs not. While yes, Safe mode loads without a lot of the extra processes and overhead, it also loads with generic drivers for the bare necessities. So while on the one hand, yes, there’s less stuff running to com...

Re: We support Ukraine

Given that my gas bill is now 340 euros instead of 76 euros a year earlier, everything is fine in Russia with money, don't worry. Why you say that ? you said you are from Latvia, Russia doesn't sell gas to Latvia anymore so your money isn't going to Russia. Read less Ukrainian and Russian press. mo...

Zero only in Ukraine. In Europe it is not so bad. Gas is enough, only price to high. But is possible to understand, USA need to sell their gas to Europe with good price.
you mean Russia, not USA. the USA isn't a net exporter of energy.

It's funny to read how I am unreasonably accused of what they themselves are doing.

I posted a link to the article. I, unlike you, did not focus on something.
yeah, you didn't even answer the question

And also, holy mother of performance drain, they weren't kidding when they said to avoid pumps at as much as possible.
they have more than 7,000 pumps! it's not so bad that they take 1ms in this scale of things imo ;D

Finally did a more "scientific" approach for comparing the ups cost of warehouses. hmmm, it's not that bad considering the benefits that you could get from using warehouses (ex. more inserters and machines can be fitted beside it). this isn't a realistic test. the items that sleep or stay...

the game engine iterates over every slot in the chest from the end to the beginning when extracting and inputting items. huge warehouses have a major impact.

53 Ukrainian military and members of other paramilitary formations were killed as a result of a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the colony in Yelenovka, where they were held. Is this part of the west's plan for the war to the last Ukrainian or "extraction" in Ukrainian? :...
