Re: Better Compression (Stacking/Boxing/Pallets) Support
Compression would be so over powered as to be game breaking, or would add one extra step after mining and thereafter not change the game. same thing could be said of anything. why not listen to the people who have done entire playthroughs around compression? 1. Your first statement is false. 2. Wha...

Re: Friday Facts #358 - Alien decoratives & Polluted water
(...) It would be lovely if we could make grass or decoratives die too, but that's something way too technically complicated for now. A great idea for post 1.0 could be gradual desertification and buildup of smog (maybe indicated by a slight saturation loss). Both should be more than pure cosmetics...

even if not all green buttons, at least all the "confirm" buttons. Or at the very absolute least, allow one to tab to the correct button.

Re: [0.18.37] unable to update: game says no updates are available
I see in the log that for some reason I don't have experimental updates enabled. The option must have accidentally been unchecked. Guess this isn't really a bug. Sorry to bother you.

Still doesn't work in the next version: I cannot update to 0.18.40.

Yeah: you have to manually copy the schedule with the shift left/right click thing.

Re: Friday Facts #356 - Blueprint library for real
The new library fixes most, if not all, of the problems of blueprint management. You can nest blueprint books now, you can store upgrade and deconstruction planners as well, and most importantly, the interaction has been reworked to be identical to standard inventories. You can even setup an empty ...

Enter should activate all green buttons
When I press enter, It should confirm all green buttons, not some select few. The more keyboard shortcuts there are, the easier, more convenient, and less tedious the game becomes. This feature could be option enabled, if you don't want it for a gameplay reason.

Pressing escape while in a blueprint should bring you up one layer.
When in a blueprint book, pressing escape currently closes the gui completely. I propose that it should only close the book/layer you are currently in, to make navigation easier.

Re: Allow placing pipes that connect different fluids
Or just not do the check when a ghost is there. That way, a player can just place a ghost and fill it in. If there is no ghost, it will not let you place it.

Re: Rail Overpass
Yeah! Then we would be able to build almost freeway-like systems. This would be a great factorio 2 or factorio 1.1 feature! Sadly, the way the game engine is made right now, this seems mostly impossible.

[0.18.37] unable to update: game says no updates are available
Hi. When I check for updates, the game tells me that there are no updates available. I know there is an update available, and cannot see why this update is any different from previous ones.

Re: Version 0.18.38
I'd like to keep my blueprints in a specific order in a book. Before this blueprint overhaul I could simply insert a blueprint at a specific position within a book. The ones following would move to make space. This feature seems gone. It will only let me replace a blueprint. Am I too dumb to figure...

Update: the server also crashed upon turning off. I can't get a crash report. When joining using the steam client, rather than the standalone, it worked.
