I don't really understand what exactly "grid position" is supposed to be. Is it just a way of saying "not centered on the red flag"?
Grid position is just an offset from the cursor when placing the blueprint. The change is completely visual.

They are almost certainly pathing around the lake; to my knowledge there is no path limit. If there is a limit, it is much larger than the distance around that lake.

Are you sure that they are the same version? It could be dependent on a different version.

This sounds like it could be performance heavy: the map icons already add ~1 ms to update time without merging.

The current value is misleading in representing the actual output of the pumpjack.
I agree it is misleading but the rate reported is more like a representation of the amount of resource left, just like mining drills.
Maybe it should be displayed as a % rather than a rate.

Gates, fun, but I never use them. Prefer landmines, plus I do everything in map mode. Cosmetically, however, I can see uses.
Gates are the only way for trains to pass through walls.

It seems like most posts require people to guess what the problem is & ask for clarification because the screenshots provided often have not enough information.

Perhaps there should be a help template like the one in ideas and suggestions.

Map exchange strings cannot be saved within the game.
You can save them in blueprint descriptions.
