This occurs with both my manual save and all 3 of my autosaves (15 minute interval per autosave). I've disabled all mods.

Is it game over for this map or can I salvage this somehow?

Did you use the Belt upgrader mod at some point of the save?

Nope - the only mod that I had enabled that might influence the use of belts is "Upgrade planner and builder", but I only used it dozens of hours earlier in the map, and only to upgrade regular belts, not underground belts. It definately did not have any upgrade orders queued at the time the saves were made.

Confirmed! Just noticed Steam updated my Factorio installation, launched, loaded my save with no issue.

Thanks for the quick fix!
