[0.11.16][slpwnd] Constant Desync with 2nd Player

[0.11.16][slpwnd] Constant Desync with 2nd Player

Hi there,

in the attached game we get a constant desync right after the 2nd player joined the game.

The game itself was started with a Factorio Version < 0.11.16 (dont know the exact number).
Before the desyncs happened, i loaded accidently the game with the RSO (ResourceOverhaul)-Mod (1.0.7) found here (https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... 215#p69215). I deactivated the mod, since its not part of this playthrough.

*Edit 1:
multiple reloades of the savegame did not help.

I have attached the the savegame and the current and previous log files.

So are you saving the game after the 2nd player has joined, then quit and reload or just quit and reload?

In my experience the first method works.

Edit: Taking look at the save it looks like you aren't saving the game after second player has joined(because there is no second player in the player list). So try that, after they join and desyncs get them to leave, then save the game, quit and load it again.

Do you have the log of the second player? Or at least an info about the system of the second player.

Sry for the late reply.

The log of the second player got overwritten already.

His system:
Windows 7 64Bit
Intel i5 2500k CPU @ 3Ghz
8GB Ram
ATI Radeo R9 200 series

I-Net: 16Mbit Downstreak/2.6Mbit Upstream

Factorio 0.11.16 via installer on USB 2.0 external drive

And to anwer Sandwichs question, i saved and loaded the game severeal times so i have no idea if my mate was still ingame while saving or not.

Anyway later the day the game worked flawless with no desync. but we took a little break between both sessions.

0.11.17 should solve most of the known MP issues. If this still happens in the 0.11.17 please let us know (ideally with logs from both players).
