The game crashes if your mouse crosses over a tree (I believe it is any interactive entity on the ground) while running and auto placing big electric poles.
I have attached my save. If you select the big electric pole, click and hold it on the one on the screen and run to the right it will crash. I have reproduced this several times at various locations in the map.
