[0.11.4] Game Crash from Seg Fault, Reason Currently Unknown

Hello,

Factorio v0.11.4, 64-bit linux. Proprietary AMD(ATI) graphics driver. Singleplayer open mode.

(Edit: I've looked a bit closer at the error messages. Even though it didn't happen while directly manipulating a splitter, both return the line 37 seg fault, so it seems very likely that it's the same error. I don't think I'm able to move to resolved on my own.)

I was experimenting with the belt game crash issue. I crashed the game, then reloaded my level, came back to the area and successfully completed my belt fix by carefully removing the corner pieces and splitter while not holding anything. A few moments later, I was running through the adjacent coal field when I CTDed with the following output:

Segmentation fault
I was doing nothing other than running through the coal field. It had been several seconds since I repaired and ran away from the splitter setup. So, I thought it worthwhile to report the bug separately. It seems like the crash occured when I changed directions, but you know how hard it can be to tell. If I experience any similar crashes, I will report them here.

This is caused by the splitter problems almost for sure, fixed for 0.11.5
