[0.18.27] Enter to confirm selected amount not working for constant combinator

Place a constant combinator. Click it to open it. Click an output signal field. In the 'set the filter' popup, click the item field, pick an item.

Now press enter.

Expected: 'set the filter' popup is confirmed and closes.
Actual: Nothing happens.

Came to post about the same problem.
Player has to press "confirm" button. Otherwise it isn't possible to set a value.
It's very annoying.
