Is there a schedule for final polishing of English locale?

Is there something like a rough timeline for last round of polishing of the English locale strings?
Will there be a final round of polishing of the English locale strings at all?

Would be nice if the translators had a few weeks before the final 1.0 release in September to update the translations based on the final English locales, and if they knew in advance when the last (big) changes to the source strings can be expected.
