So i have this setup where there is a huge place of factories and stations.
Every drop off station has the same name so if 1 is occupied it goes to the next, now here lies the problem; it doenst go to the next one, it stays at the entry point and building up a que waiting to get into that 1 station.
Anybody got any ideas how to fix this?
for iron ore i start naming it 1 - 2 -3 but its not handy.
trains only use 1 station
Re: trains only use 1 station
From you map view it seems that a direct path to the next station does not exist, post the save.
Generally you should make all stations reachable from all tracks and equally attractive for the train to prevent situations like this. The refuel station in the middle is an absolute no go for example.

Re: trains only use 1 station
Well the fuel stop is just a stop for the fuel train to dropp of rocketfuel, the logistics bots take it and bring it to the train stops where the train gets refueld.Loewchen wrote:From you map view it seems that a direct path to the next station does not exist, post the save.

Well if u look at the middle train from above it can take the first coper loadingstop or keep going straight into the 2de stop, its only a nit further away.
On the left side for iron this works but not for the right side. Ill try upload the save later when am home.
Re: trains only use 1 station
What Loewchen is indicating is that the trains don't like travelling further and don't like going through stations, that means the 2nd plate pickup stations are significantly less attractive than the first.

Re: trains only use 1 station
You need to ensure all stations are equally attractive. Primarily, this means you need to move the fuel dropoff station off the main line onto a siding.

Well ive removed the dropp of station for fuel in the middle track and it all started working like it was supposed. Added a big yard so they can get in the holding queu until theres a free station. Works good, just have to add a new intersection.pleegwat wrote:You need to ensure all stations are equally attractive. Thx for the tips guys
