A way to quickly drop or destroy everything

I have my inventory filled with crap at the moment, and there seems to be no simple way of disposing it. Sure, I can press "drop" to drop it at the mouse cursor one element at a time, but with my inventory stuffed with 50X stacks all over the place, it becomes really tedious.

How can I destroy items, or somehow mass-drop them? Is this something that's planned? Is it already here, or am I missing something?

There are several ways.

The easiest: Put all you not need in a (wooden) chest and hit "C".

There is the method I currently like most: Put all you don't need in a wagon, which is placed anywhere central. When a train comes by and stops because the wagon is standing in the block, just remove the signal. Nice.

Generally the devs stated, that this is not a big issue, even if there are many suggestion about "Recycling" and so on.

I always use active provider chests as "trashbin" - the robots come and collect everything to store it in storage chests.
Nothing is lost and your inventory is empty.

Regarding mass-dropping all of the items in your inventory, this is possible if you open a chest and use the "inventory transfer" key binding and click on an empty space in your inventory. Mine is assigned to control-shift left-click but I think that's different then the default. This is really nice if you have logistics setup to re-give you the important items. Instant clean inventory.
