[Klonan] [1.1.80] Closing technology window briefly shows box next to Shortcut bar

What did you do?

Open research menu, close research menu.

What happened?

The research menu closes, and on the first frame of it being closed, a small box appears on the toolbar where the alert icons would usually lie, before disappearing on the next frame.

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!

Expected no box.

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?

Always.

If you can reproduce the issue provide the exact steps!

Playing with mods, but I have seen this happen in vanilla 1.1.80
