Hi,
Is it possible to opt-in for email notifications if someone post a new topic/reply in the discussion panel in the mod portal?
Or otherwise show a notification on the website itself.

yes it is, see the settings for the forum.

Better forum search for modders: Enclose your search term in quotes, eg. "font_color" or "custom-input" - it prevents the forum search from splitting on hypens and underscores, resulting in much more accurate results.

my mistake misread and thought he said forums, I think there is no possibility to do that in the portal, it should be though, that is pretty much a number one feature for the portal I'd say

As far as I can remember the Mod Portal is still in development.
Email notifications might not be implemented yet.
