[MOD 0.2.7] Explosive Bullet Magazine Mod

Explosive Bullet Magazine
  • * Research: Explosive Bullet Magazine, after Millitary 2
    * How to make: crafting
    • What it takes:
      • 1 Steel Plate
        8 Copper Plates
        2 Iron Plates
        1 Electronic Circuit
    * What it does: deals 2 times as much damage as Piercing Bullets
#Installing
  • Unzip in the /data/ folder
#Unninstaling
  • Delete all mod_explosive-bullet-magazine files
Download Here

I'm trying this Google Drive thing. To download you must go to File then Download or use CTRL+S.
Please feel free to suggest other ways to share or to improve the mod. Feel free to do your own take of it too! :)

Thanks for the mod.

"Explosive", and only "2x armor piercing" damage ? What about lower damage, but splash effect (maybe with the flamethrower effect, i don't know how the game works) ?

One mod per topic is better i'd say.

I think that splash damage can't be specified now, but this extension can be easily made.

I really like how easy it is to mod your game :D
Actually, my brother, 15-years-old made little mods like "baked fish" and is trying to make some windmills, and he did it in something like ... 30 minutes, assuming he don't even know what is a boolean xD
I mean, the cool fact is that gamers, who don't know anything about coding can do small mods :)
Edit: lol, I got the long handed inserter rank ...

I'm really glad to hear that, good modding support will be one of our main priorities.
If we can afford to continue the developement (hopefully), I think that one of our main roles would be to provide good platform, something that is extremly easy to mod (and solving all kind of conflict problems naturaly), something that runs fast and evrywhere.

Explosive ammo? with which component ? circuit? ^^ add maybe some fuel to do it ^^

It's right : I make baked-fish in 30 minutes (20 for pictures, which isn't good: white background...)

Yeah... I thought of mixing with the rocket recipe. Fuel from the Flamethrower? Didn't thought of that ^^" I'll revise it in 0.2.8. As of now it is difficult to test in 0.2.7 because of some bugs.
Yeah, I made a Cooked Fish one too :D but it is so simple and not very usable that I didn't even bothered posting. Maybe I still post for the easy installation. The just extracting on the data folder thing ;)

And as you can see in the mod, you can create new files and they'll work just fine. Dunno if you can put them inside a folder too xD So it would be nice to try creating new files instead of modifying existing ones so you can just zip it (with its right paths) and have an easy installation package too :D

I like the flamethrower effect idea :D I'll try it and see how it looks like.
