[MOD 0.12.x] Ore Expansion
Description: this makes ore denser the further from spawn you go. It's meant to encourage exploring deep into biter land instead of just sitting < 1000 tiles from the spawn the entire game. It should work with any mod-added ore without any changes required.
Every 3500 distance from spawn (roughly 109 chunks) the ore density doubles. You can change the rate it doubles in the control.lua file - just change 3500 to how ever many tiles you want it to double after. The ore rate scales as the distance does (it's not 1x ore at 3499 and then 2x at 3500).
Note: it doesn't effect existing generated ore (only new chunks after it's added) and there's no way to reverse the effect so removing the mod just makes future ore gen the standard density.

To me, this mod sounds more reasonable then what I've seen about RSO, but that remains to be seen...

3500 is very far if you expand in a circle around your spawn. But I guess targeted expansion in one direction might make it more useful.

EDIT: Never mind, I misunderstood the math. Chalk it up to it being before noon when I attempted to do anything useful.

Getting the following error when starting a new game with the mod turned on;

Edit: I removed the old version download as it wasn't needed anymore.

I'm using the 1.0.1 version and am still getting the __Ore Expansion__/control.lua:3: attempt to index global 'game' (a nil value) on loading an existing world.
