Red Circuit Build (stackable, belts)

Post by Syrchalis »

Alright, this is my first post in this section. I've been playing Factorio for many hours now and while I built some pretty nice things, either because they were very clean or effective, I generally find something better if I google for a bit. Now, this is probably not THE one perfect solution either, but it's pretty close. Credit goes to SyncViews and myself.

This is of course using belts, robots are probably more effective.

Pro:
  • Uses belts
  • Stackable vertically (beacons overlap)
  • Compact
  • Very high throughput (4x Productivity 8x Speed = 616% throughput compared to normal assembly machine without modules or beacons)
  • Pretty good energy/item ratio (210 = normal, 2205 = only productivity, 595 = this setup)
Con:
  • Uses belts
  • Uses belt weaving
  • Looks complex and messy
  • Is complex and messy

Note: We forgot an Inserter at the top left most red circuit machine.

With the red circuits on just one side (e.g. so can place 2 copies of the blueprint and feed the circuits through)
