LTN invisible requests

Post by Asiynm »

Hi,
Can someone help me with one question about LTN mode?
I use cityblocks and actively use LTN.

The basis of fashion is pyanodon.
In this modpack there are 4 tiers of trains with different load capacities. When replacing wagons, you need to adjust the request thresholds at each station in accordance with the load capacity of the new wagon. If there are more than 1000 stations, this will be a serious problem.

To resolve this issue, I have divided all stations into 4 types:
- for unload solid
- for load solid
- for unload liquids
- for load liquids

Each of the 4 types has basic settings . (request/provide thresholds in stacks or values)
Each station of a certain type is connected to the corresponding network.
The settings from the network and the request for resources from the combinator near the station are connected to the station lamp with wires of different colors, which eliminates the ingress of resource values into the network with settings.

Such a system with central settings has a problem. Stations through lamps send color through status. (green, yellow, blue)
As a result, there are several types of colors with different values in the settings network (for example green-220, yellow - 15, blue-7)
How does the presence of these colors in the settings networks affect the operation of the LTN?

The LTN network operates with delays, sometimes up to several 3-5-20 seconds. With an increase in the number of request processing in the settings (10), as well as the frequency (every 1 tick), the LTN begins to work more or less acceptably.

There are a total of 80 trains in the network, of which 10-30 trains are constantly delivering resources. 1 train have 1 wagon.

There is liquid water. The supplier station stores 250k units. The consumer station requests 200k.
The network numbers are the same, the request and supply thresholds settings are correct. There are enough free trains. The delay at the beginning of processing the delivery request is about 10-15 seconds. Then it allocates 1-2 trains, with a maximum limit of 4 trains. Although mathematically it is possible to send 4 trains and bring 4x25k = 100k of water. But LTN sends 1-2 trains, and when setting up updates 1 tick - 10 requests, allocates 3-4 trains.

So what's the question?

PS: The color signals do not interfer with the LTN operations. LTN filters the signals on the lamp for real items and the control signals only and ignores the rest.
