All entities having animations

Instead of making containers, etc have a "picture" field and other entities have an "animation" field, why not all of the entities to have "animation" field, like so, we could add animations to containers, and other stuff.

It would be nice to have a generic interface, but it is not as straightforward. The problem is for instance how would the animation updating be defined. In the laboratory / assembling machine this is defined by the amount of consumed energy per tick, so they move only when they are processing something. How would this be for the container ? Based on the tick ?

another field called "animation_speed"?
Also I would want an animation speed for the assembly machines, the forge in my mod seems like bugged...
