Less than and Greater than symbols reversed.

Post by CausticLasagne »

Hi. I've come across more of an error than a bug, and it seems to only affect the Decider Combinator.
The < and > are reversed, where < is less than and > is more than, however in Factorio, this is reversed, and is rather confusing.
Please see the included links for supporting evidence.

Please see the attached image for more information.

Noted here is the Decider and a belt set to receive a message. If the chest has less than 5 green potions, then activate the belt, otherwise lock the belt. Information is highlighted in the image for convenience.

I dont see the problem here?
your setup works as expectet also the symbol is not reversed.

you combinator computes: when green science pack is less than 5 --> output signal [0] with a value of 1
and your belt is set to: enabled when signal [0]= 1

so the belt will activate when you have less than 5 science packs in the chest

The comparison operators work correct for me, I suspect you have a logic or wiring issue. If you still think there is a bug, then upload your save-file and describe what behaviour you would expect as exact as possible.
