[0.11.22] Circuits on red belts "flash" at a certain zoom.

Post by lxl »

There is a graphic bug in the zoomlevel 0.424, resolution 1920x1080px.

Circuits on red belts which are going north/south(not east/west) are flashing.
When i pause the game some are drawn with a 75% yellow surface and others are drawn 75% red (in case of red circuits).

It seems to be fault of scaling algorithm, bicubic interpolation should work better...

This is not really a bug. It will not be so visible when you turn the multisampling on.

Short notice: Can be fixed by placing the items with a minimal pseudo-random shift on the belt. As I understand it right, with the new belt-mechanics it can work without problems (the collision checks can behave as if the belt is correctly placed on the belt). In near zoom you would see this slight shift also, but that would look for Factorio absolutely normal and the player also can see the movements and direction of the belts much better.
Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.
