Steps to reproduce:
1) build a railway
2) build a gate across the railway
3) attach the gate to a lamp
Expected results: lamp lights up when train or player approaches
Actual results: lamp lights up when player approaches the gate on foot, regardless of train position (i.e. it won't light up when train is over it but there's no player nearby)
Additionally, if the player is inside the locomotive, lamp will flash a few times and then remain switched off.
Gate won't produce signal when train is approaching
Re: Gate won't produce signal when train is approaching
The gate is only supposed to produce a signal when it is opening, not all the time it is open. I tested it in 14.9 and that is exactly what it is doing, so unless you can show that it is behaving differently I consider this not a bug.
Re: Gate won't produce signal when train is approaching
Ok more specifically it behaves like this if train is moving slowly. It's most pronounced when there's a train station directly behind the gate.
