Try placing an underground belt next to a pump in all orientations to see it
I am not really sure which part of the oddity, if any, is a bug.

Actually, this is not a bug, we didn't want the pump to be placable one next to each other, so the bounding box is extending from the tile.

OK, hitbox of the pump should definitely not be 1x1.
