The direction-arrow on inserters and mining drills don't consider perspective and look quite weird in "top" and "down" directions.
I am sure it would look way better if the "center" of the arrow didn't move relatively to the machine graphics. (the central circle on inserters, output chute on miners)

The arrows now have better graphics. They don't pretend to be a part of the world and are in a separate "info layer".
