I wanted to share these videos about Cheaters in multiplayer FPS games. It's cause of this community being technically gifted and felt it's worthy info for some.

These videos, they'll ruin you if you play popular multiplayer FPS games.

Cheating in MP FPS games has gotten bad. I won't say how bad, but there's estimates mentioned in these vids. I'll cover this like a sane person.

The What and Why are defined here. This is a 2 year old video, so things have changed. It's also an attention grabbing video and this video simply brought attention to the issue. Since, we've gotten stats of how bad the issue is. This video was done by a Streamer with >10,000 hours in Escape from Tarkov. It's likely the most punishing game in the genre, which is all that's needed to know about the game. Really the game name, not important. Cheaters are going to target what's popular and this vid also explains why. It's a touchy subject. Sorry I won't put it into words. The other videos I can.

How bad is it?
First video has a player intentionally cheat in order to find the cheaters. This is the video that'll ruin these games. It mentions the avg amount of cheaters.

Any solutions yet?
This vid also mentions the avg amount of cheaters. It also discusses with devs who created an AI to monitor player input to say who's a robot and who's not, of course not perfect. It's stated that, I picture this like a captcha, by watching any gameplay footage from that player's perspective, it can determine if all inputs were entirely done by a human. They go on stating so confidently that they are able to create a unique id for that player solely based on 'how' they played the game. If it's determined they are cheating, then their id would be perma-banned for life. It's stated no matter what, if they tried to buy the game again with a new account, that just based on their id that was created, it can find if they have a rap sheet and ban them again. False positives are going to be crucial that they equal zero, otherwise you're stealing people's money.

That's the best solution I've heard of. It's 9 months old. Perhaps something better has come along.
