Hi, I can't start the game. Using a Geforce GTX 1050 Ti with proprietary drivers and 4 monitors attached, on Debian linux. Here's the output from the console:

I can't get the game to start even with (which is documented as "start game in windowed mode"?!) or or .
Funnily enough, trying these options always seems to output in the log, so for some reason I think the game is always trying to start full screen regardless of what I pass. Although on the other hand, it's also printing stuff like so that would indicate it does prefer windowed mode.
I really don't want any sort of fullscreen on my 4 monitor setup - I want it windowed.

Oh, I've just realised I'm running Xorg in 30-bit colour depth (because one of the monitors supports it), that's probably the reason here! I can't currently change this, but I'll post here if I get to test it in 24-bit.

Yup, I can confirm the game starts up fine in 24-bit colour depth.
So there's a few things here, either:
1. Add support for 30-bit screens (would be nice to be able to game and edit photos on the same Xorg server...)
or, if you're not going to do that
2. Change it to a more descriptive error message ("30-bit visuals not supported" or something like that) rather than a couple of FIXMEs ;-)
Also, this is probably material for another ticket, but
3. What's up with --fullscreen being documented as "start the game in windowed mode"? And it doesn't work either way -- the game seems to always start up in fullscreen mode (on one of the monitors), regardless of whether I specify no arguments, add --fullscreen, or add --window-size=1280x720

YAY! Last night I was able to get everything shut everything down and roll back the NVIDIA drivers.
Who'da thunk it, but NVIDIA's driver was causing the issue! Rolled 390.48 back to 390.42 and everything started working quite nicely.
I *KNEW* I should have rolled back the driver before posting.
