Game Crash with high frequent sounds

Post by teenusa »

I'm playing on a relativly "big" map with these mods:
All 5'dim mods
FARL
My Pc Components are:
Intel Pentium4 2.8Ghz (OC 3.9Ghz)
6Gb Ram
Amd Radeon R7 240 2GB DDR3

Windows 10 Pro insider preview 10130

Today I had made a scenario from the whole map with the --map2scenario option.
after i added some resources I playd the map for 5 minutes or so.
Then a high frequent noise, and the game crashed.

I tested this 5 times and sometimes i can hear the sound 5 secounds befor the game crashes, sometimes mor and sometimes less

i think i may no what is up with your system out of VRAM this app from microsoft you can see if it is that.
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sys ... 96653.aspx
if VRAM is the bug you can go in to low graphics mode

I'd recommend GPU-Z to check the VRAM - it can show also current usage of it.
I'd think that 2GB you have should be enough. And there were also crashes related to sound from time to time.

My Vram is okey only 1.2 Gb full when i am playing ...
I edited an older save with the editor and now the game is running without a crash.
Maybe the editor did not saved the scenario properly?
