[0.17.22] crash when dragging power poles

I just downloaded the latest version via steam, and I have had two consecutive crashes under the same circumstances.

I start the game, and this is the first task I do; I go to my power plant, and start placing large power poles by clicking the first down in a specific spot and then walking to the right to drag them across my base. While dragging large power poles across my base, I begin to cross the main bus. When the ghost of the dragging power pole finishes crossing the first belt in the bus(the first belt that it crossed since I started dragging) and enters a space where it could be legally placed, the game crashes.

I noticed that the patch notes included some changes to power pole dragging behavior, so I thought this could be related.

same thing happens to me, we posted a report almost simultaneously, this is quite game breaking, but good to know im not alone

I'm having the same issue dragging large poles along a railtrack. When dragging from one side of the track to the other the game crashes.

I've attached the save. I've been connecting the large pole to power and dragging it along the rails eastward.
