I have recently updated kernel on my fedora and there was a factorio update, now I am unable to run factorio, I'm getting crash.
I haven't played for a few days, since ~ October 24 (guessing date based on timestamps of my local dir)
I have tried 20.0.13, 20.0.14, 20.0.15 and 20.0.16 but all I am getting now is during the start (that's the only message i get when i press 'start' in steam) :
"Unexpected error occurred. If you're running the latest version of the game you can help us solve the problem ...."
But when I am checking ~.factorio/ I see no .log files, nor .dmp files within the directory. and I am running it via steam (not flatpack, and yes, i double checked that and there is no steam under ~.var/app/ and game is installed under "~.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Factorio")
Code: Select all
13:18 >:/home/myuser/.factorio > ls -l
total 4204
-rw-r--r--. 1 myuser myuser 382 Oct 23 16:58 blueprint-storage-2.dat
drwxr-xr-x. 1 myuser myuser 20 Oct 24 14:23 config
-rw-r--r--. 1 myuser myuser 4276602 Oct 24 18:29 crop-cache.dat
drwxr-xr-x. 1 myuser myuser 26 Oct 24 18:34 mods
-rw-r--r--. 1 myuser myuser 16693 Oct 24 18:34 player-data.json
drwxr-xr-x. 1 myuser myuser 628 Oct 24 18:28 saves
drwxr-xr-x. 1 myuser myuser 56 Oct 24 18:34 temp
So, I'm not sure where I should be getting my log files from, at least they are not where expected (as per documentation https://wiki.factorio.com/Application_d ... _directory)
I am currently running:
