Factorio threw the "Unexpected Error" dialog box twice in a row with no mods active - the first time I was updating some mods and the game threw the error upon clicking the green confirm button, the second time it threw the error upon clicking the exit game button from the main menu.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be consistent, I booted up the game multiple times after the errors occurred and after over a dozen attempts I have not seen the error return.
The game has been acting normally even with the error boxes - it will complete its intended operation after I click "yes" or "no" in the error box.
