0.15.6 Random 30fps Lag

I have been playing for ages now, about 5 days straight and have experienced no lag. But I had pretty much finished the game so I started a new game with aggressive enemies and after 2 days it's getting this weird thing where it will run at 30fps for a while for no reason and go back up to 60fps for a while. I have a pretty beefy PC and it can easily run Factorio.

Are you using the vsync option? If so, try disabling it.

When I got this bug (it's "framerate issues" in the "waiting" subforum), enabling vsync *fixed* it. Instant normal Factorio smoothness, instead of tons of microstuttering.

It started happening immediately after an update, I'm pretty sure it was 15.3.

Seems to have worked, thanx
