Was demolishing a chunk of an old base and after nuking it, was still left with a bunch of resources from the belts on the ground.
Had to reload an do it the boring way with bots.
My question, any reason why we can't have nukes destroy items on the ground? Would just be nicer for cleaning up area's but not a high priority concern.
Nukes don't destroy items on the ground, Why?

And destroy all ores, at least uranium?

I was not aware unmined ore and refined objects were classified as the same thing.

Technically, those items weren't on the ground when the nuke detonated. They are the remains of belts.

More importantly, why is the grass still green and the desert not glass?

Different bug. Not as old.

Uranium ores should be contaminated by nuclear bomb (in possitive or negative way).
Coal ores should catch on fire (eg from forest fire).
