[0.13.x] Base Mod not updating?

Having just updated my Factorio and my mods I logged into my game only to discover that the base mod of the game is not updated and therefore none of my other mods are working. I've double checked that all my mod files are version 0.13 but still nothing. Tried deleting caches and logs already, as well as replacing all the mod filed twice from the dropbox. I'm not using any other mods other than Bob's Mods. Has anyone else had and solved this problem?

If the base mod is still being listed as 0.12, then it sounds like you're having a game related issue, not a mod issue.
My suggestion would be to report it in the main bug reporting forum... or just download the entire game package from the main factorio website.

Cool - not sure which it was. As there's been another small patch since I'll try to force an update again and see if that solves it - oh the joys of modding steam games :/

SOLVED - for some reason Steam was classifying version 0.13 as a BETA and therefore wasn't auto updating to that version

It's because whole 0.13 is an experimental version therefore it's accesed as beta from Steam.

I am having the same problem,i downloaded the game from steam again but it didn't work

0.13.0 and current subsequent versions are all experimental. You should enable beta versions in Steam properties of Factorio to get 0.13, else you'll stick with 0.12
