19, The Netherlands, I don't know how the netcode of this game is, but I don't think having 100-150 ping would matter too much in a non-action intensive game such as factorio.

I would personally prefer a lower player count, despite not having played online yet, something tells me factorio is best played with few players, something like 5-10 sounds better. But its your choice to make!

I'm afraid ping/latency and upload speed is having a huge impact on the "net code", it'g generally not a pleasant experience to play with clients spread over the continents but your mileage may vary (if all of you have good upload speeds it could work but most of the time you have to try and play with geographically "close" people)

I am having so many issues trying to play with my friend. Just one and we've tried making servers doing a lan party for 4 hours straight yet we couldn't do it. Can the devs please simplify the multiplayer or even add the join friend with the steam friends.
