tower object that character enters, while inside you it gives a large bonus to your view radius, and allows you so pan around rapidly to view any territory revealed by radar towers.

doesn't increase build range but doesn't restrict BP usage.

You just described something we call Throne room, and we plan it for the future. The player could see any part of the map that is covered by radar and build blueprints, setup assembling machines etc.
