Just a little quality of life improvement I was thinking of:
If you are inside a vehicle and shift-click a chest, the items get transferred into the character's inventory by default. I would like to see a toggle-option to change this default behaviour, so that items are moved to the vehicle's inventory instead. Once that inventory is full, it should fall back to fill up any 'secondary' inventory space (character inventory, toolbelt).

If this applied to trains as well, filling the cargo cars you're pulling, it would be awesome.
I honestly skip cars completely and go right to trains, laying track where I need to go and using them to bring my building supplies.

If you have to do this often enough then just make a little loading bay for the car:
Better if you have multiple cars (they're not that expensive), since you can swap a fully loaded one for an empty one.
