Ore balancing in lategame

I would like to suggest some endgame content like the matter system from Krastorio 2 mod, for balancing different types of ores in very lategame.

Its a nice way to deal with the uneven mass of ores coming in, easy way to deal with it but not necessarily if people like to store ore in boxes.
it would give another option without using all of the Krastorio 2 mod pack.
