A lot of this game involves waiting in a logistics area before hopping on a train (or in a car, tank or exoskeleton) and leaving. Other than during Lazy Bastard attempts, the Crafting tab is the most frequently used player window tab. This hides information that is important to the player under unnecessary UI clicks.
Please color code the logistics tab so the player can see the status of logistics requests without actually switching to the logistics tab. This would be similar to the individual request slots, but condensed and visible regardless of the selected tab.
I propose the following color scheme:
Player is not in a logistics area - no color
All requests are fully satisfied - green
At least one request is "on the way" - yellow
At least one request cannot be satisfied by network inventory - red
Red and yellow are not mutually exclusive so the tab should support a yellow/red combination.

Re: UI request : player window : logistics tab color code
In case it isn't clear, I'm asking for the tab control itself - the thing that you click to switch to the logistics view - to gain color coding. The cells inside the logistics view are already color coded - my request is to put a summary of those individual color codes in a place where they can be seen in any state of the player window.
Re: UI request : player window : logistics tab color code
Yes, understood. But I think it’s not a good user experience, to give an ui element such kind of double functionality. I think it’s kind of unusual and normal users will be alarmed when they enter and see one tab in red; color coding it is also not self-explanatory. And additionally I see a heavy difference in the quality of information about WHAT item is missing.
I recommended the autotrash mod because it provides about that information in a user friendly way.
