exiting/quitting a game will save the game automatically
pressing continue on the main menu (top level button not under a sub-menu) will load that game.

simple and very helpful

sometimes you want to exit without saving.

Adding an option to save directly from the confirmation popup instead of having to press cancel and then doing the save would be better

Yeah, usually when I go to quit without saving, it's because I didn't want to save.
