[Public/Europe] Dedicated Server [0.12.35/Modded]
Re: [Public/Europe] Dedicated Server [0.12.33/Modded]
Rockets going strong. 1k+ atm.
A cool feature on the autostarter would be a count. I'd like to see how many rockets where launched from a certain site.

Re: [Public/Europe] Dedicated Server [0.12.33/Modded]
You can count that ingame already (spoiler: combinators)
Re: [Public/Europe] Dedicated Server [0.12.33/Modded]
Some guy downloads the map for about 45 minutes now and finally his download is stuck. Why aren't people dc't after a certain amount of time?
Re: [Public/Europe] Dedicated Server [0.12.33/Modded]
Good god. And the map is not even that huge. Remember the one with yields < 10% which lead to huge explorations...
There should really be some way in factorio preventing this, since it's their way to do multiplayer, that everyone has to wait until someone is connected. Maybe we should make a suggestion for this?
E.g. Download speeds while connecting below XX are not acceptable, and the player is dropped...

Looks like it isn't his first time.judos wrote:@provet: We haven't tried them yet. We actually have some copper problems and we can't really expand due to too many enemies currently.
I would like to note that kaZ just wasted >60k resources on purpose. Just because the chests couldn't be removed immediately by the construction robots. Next time please keep your temper for yourself and don't just ruin everybody else' game.
Re: [Public/Europe] Dedicated Server [0.12.33/Modded]
Ok ok, i'm already in a withdrawal from the server. But your abitility to fake other players names and troll around (causing train jams for example) doesn't make you better. This shows your intentions. Now you harm the others that are not involved too. Please stop it. I won't play there anymore either.
Re: [Public/Europe] Dedicated Server [0.12.33/Modded]
I bet I will find your next online server Maniah
Re: [Public/Europe] Dedicated Server [0.12.33/Modded]
You are such a child. I don't care about this server anymore, you've successfully ruined that. All mods are deleted and I'm playing somewhere else (good luck finding it).kaZ wrote:I bet I will find your next online server Maniah
Go spread your hate and your lies somewhere else.

Re: [Public/Europe] Dedicated Server [0.12.33/Modded]
After a lot of trouble with the server having ~200-400 in the multiplayer waiting statistics and having lots of lags me, kaZ and Loewchen tried to find the issue there, but it even occured on a new map therefore hinting on a server problem.
I have no Idea what the issue was (cpu, ram, network seemed fine) but I've migrated the server to new hardware (Intel i5 @ 3.1 GHz, 16GB Ram) and the problem seems to be solved. Check the first post to get the new IP.
As for the teamspeak: It is still running on the old server, I might also migrate it in the next few days.

Fault report from the data center
I think I should look for another hosting provider.Re: [Public/Europe] Dedicated Server [0.12.35/Modded]

We really enjoyed it!

Thank you very much Daniel for hosting this server for such a long time and the effort in administrating it. It made a lot of fun playing the different scenarios.
By the way... google was not able to translate "Permanently". I've never heard of it I assume it's something like vielleicht or in ferner Zukunft.
Best wishes.

Forever, until the end of time, - when something is permanent, you can expect it to look/feel/behave exactly like that each time you return to it in the future.kaZ wrote:"Permanently"
Hosting a factorio server? Take a look at this || init script ||.
