[0.10.0] Map generation in godmode

When in the sandbox scenario (and, I suspect, any godmode) it is possible to travel very fast and outstrip the map generation. I assume this has to do with the new prioritizing of chunk generation.
It eventually catches up, but until then things are kind of awkward.

Erm.. so?
Would you like the movement speed to be hindered to match the generation speed?
I don't think there is anything that could be done, or anything that needs to be done, for that matter.
But maybe I don't understand the situation correctly...

If I remember correctly (and I may not, it was a while ago that I last goofed around in sandbox mode) in the previous release you couldn't outstrip map generation; the game would stop while it generated (presumably on priority) the new chunks that were to be in player view. It's not gamebreaking, but it's awkward and ugly.

I remember it happening in 0.9.8 as well. Can't say about prior versions.
I don't really mind either way. Maybe just slightly inclined towards the current way, but I may be alone in this

This isn't a bug, it is a feature

Before 0.10.0 the game would stop until all required parts of the map were generated, the current behavior becomes visible only when moving very fast in god mode and makes the game playable even on slower machines.
In future we might optimize the map generation a bit more (so that the black parts disappear faster), but the behavior is probably staying
