I actually didnt tweak that mod at all, honestly didnt even know that i had it. It must have completely rewritten the way gun turrets acquired targets to something that was extremely update heavy.

The issue is completely removed when not using long range turrets... Thanks a lot. I really did not think something that small would cause so much lag.

Space Exploration Extreme Entity update time usage
Hello,
recently I've been having huge frame freezes caused by massive UPS usage of most likely Laser turrets. It is most noticeable on the Space ship when destroying asteroids, and in much smaller size during regular biter attacks.

After the removal the issue is removed. However, I really like the stuff the mod offers, and would like to somehow manage playing with it active. Is there a way to do that, or is the issue bound to the way the mod was made?
