Thanks Fatmice. Seeing how I already have the infrastructure down I suppose I will continue you on with making more reactors. However, this doesn't seem worthwhile now that I am more familiar with how it works.

I'm not getting enough fluid into my steam engines. A few aren't operating. I need insight please. This mod has great potential but... So here is a screenshot.

I've sifted through all of the uhm information on this post and still haven't gotten a clear definition of how this mod works. Does the reactor output super heated steam to power engines? What are the lightning bolt items that are created by the reactor used for? I used them as fuel for the boilers...

No I haven't played multiplayer yet but at any rate I used only SP settings/map generation. I may upload a save to let you know. Before doing this I did expand my base on all sides extending past my pollution radius. Outposts consisting of advanced combat robots, solar power, accumulators and radar....

So I played the game through (50 hours) and finally built the rocket defense... The graphic for it is a white box that says "Rocket Defense" and when I clicked "start countdown" I get a message that says something like "unknown key entry...". I was hoping for a zerg-esq...

I've considered it but haven't tried it out and I am in the "end game". The spitters have become powerful and attack from long range. I will give it a try and let you know how it goes.

I've tried that. I've had issues with the aliens attacking power poles and disrupting supply. My thinking is if the power lines were underground cables then there would be no risk of that. Has that ever happened to you?

Power Demands
The idea of having some type of nuclear (infinite) power supply is appealing but probably won't happen because it makes the game too easy. I would like to see some sort of underground power supply. This could be used to declutter bases and to keep outposts small and defensible. Any input on the idea?

I use the tank and destroy as many big worms from afar. When they aggro I move in and destroy the spawners and retreat while destroying any aliens that are chasing me. Takes less resources and less time. That's just how I do it though.

I'm interested in playing with someone from America. I have never played multiplayer but am pretty deep into the game now. I play most nights from 11pm to 6am. I'm hoping there are some other night owls out there that play that late. Let me know!
