Hi,
i try to understand, how to use red and green wire. In all tutorials the smart inserters have red and green wire conditions. My smart inserters say "Logistic network condition - not connected". What am I doing wrong ?
Smart inserter has no red/green wire condition
Re: Smart inserter has no red/green wire condition
To make the inserter part of a logistic network, it needs to be inside the orange supply area of a roboport. To make it part of a circuit network, you need to actually connect it to something with a wire. Select a wire, right click inserter, right click power pole, then connect that to a smart chest or something.Baxitus wrote:Hi,

Re: Smart inserter has no red/green wire condition
Those tutorials are outdated. Now signals from red and green wires sum. So if you want logic conditions, use combinators. https://www.factorio.com/blog/post/fff-88
Re: Smart inserter has no red/green wire condition
Just to clarify in case any confusion remains: the red and green wire conditions are now housed under "circuit condition", which will become applicable after you wire up the smart inserter.
